Quilting has been a lifelong passion for me. I’ve been piecing quilts for over 45 years and have spent the last 18 years specializing in longarm quilting. I especially love rescuing old quilt tops and vintage blocks—breathing new life into them and finishing what someone else lovingly began.

One of my favorite quilting eras is the 1930s, with its cheerful feed-sack fabrics and vibrant prints. These joyful patterns stand in beautiful contrast to the hardships of that time. My grandmother used to quilt as a way to cope with the stress of the Great Depression. She hand-pieced her squares using those same 1930s fabrics—many of which she also used to make dresses for my mom and aunt.
Now, quilting is more than a hobby for me—it’s a daily joy. I feel truly blessed to carry on a family tradition of crafting, creating, and connecting through fabric.
