Estimate Guide for Longarm Quilting Services

Thank you for choosing Jewell’s Custom Quilting! To help you plan and budget your quilting project, we’ve created this guide for estimating the cost of our longarm quilting services. Once we receive your quilt top, we’ll confirm a more accurate quote based on actual measurements and design choices—but here’s how you can calculate a good “guestimate” in advance.

💲 Pricing Estimate Formula

Use this simple formula to estimate the quilting cost based on your quilt’s dimensions:

Quilt Length (in inches) × Quilt Width (in inches) × Rate = Estimated Cost

Choose your quilting style to find the rate:

• Edge-to-Edge / Overall Design: × 0.020
• Edge-to-Edge with Border: × 0.025
• Custom Quilting: × 0.030+ (varies depending on detail level)

🔹 Note: Quilts will shrink slightly after quilting due to stitching. We will measure the final quilted size for the official cost, which is typically close to or slightly less than your estimate. Don’t forget to factor in bobbin and additional service charges.

• Thread Charge: $1.50 per bobbin
• Rush Order Fee: $50.00
• Quilt Ironing: $15 for 15 min. ($30/hour)

• Binding (attached to front, end-to-end seamed):
